Calling all ASECA Members! You’re invited to join our mission to support and expand youth financial education. Sign up for the information and training session scheduled for Tuesday, February 13th at 12 noon: register now! We’ve teamed up with the SIFMA Foundation to access turnkey volunteer resources and to identify classrooms and community organizations across the country in need of volunteers. Some of the ways you can get involved.
Here’s how you can get started: Register for the training session here. Then sign up for an account on SIFMA's Invest It Forward website: Step 1 Visit https://investitforward.sifma.org/ Step 2 Select the “Volunteer” icon. Step 3 Select the “Register” button. Step 4 Complete the required fields, marked by red asterix. For the “Employer” section, select “ASECA” from the pull-down box (see screen shot below). Then input your formal employer name into the Street Address. Step 5 Once the form is completed, hit “Submit.” Your account will be activated within 24 hours. Post activation, you can view open requests for volunteers. You’ll receive an update when a teacher in your area makes a request or when virtual opportunities become available. Instructions and optional materials are provided for each activity.
